Maintenance Oiling of Screens before commencing make sure the Raw Screen is free of dirt or debris, then following the manufacturer’s directions apply a coat of quality external decking oil to the surfaces, once the first coat has been allowed to dry, apply another coat. Regularly wash the painted/oiled surface with clean water to remove dirt and grime and to improve the performance of the coating. Generally exterior surface coatings deteriorate by chalking rather than flaking, when repainting or oiling becomes necessary wash down with water and remove all loose chalk, dirt and dust by sanding with a fine grid paper, and finally dust off. Apply a minimum of two coats of paint/oil. aluminiumWe recommend using Cabbott’s Aquadeck or equivalent when oiling our Decorative Screens. ACM (Aluminium Composite Material ) The cleaning operation must be followed by a thorough rinse with clean water to ensure the removal of all remnants of the cleansing agent. A final wipe down by means of a sponge, or wipe is necessary to avoid water stains. Warranty Contact us at designoutdoor@yahoo.com.au
